Some of Ed's favourite moments
-
This is one helluva movie.
Strong story, great actors. Greer is Irish and
beautiful. Gregory Peck is solid as a rock.
-
Greer does have a small "Oh!" in this movie, in the
scene in which Gladys Cooper invites her to go to
Boston.
If you still hate Gladys Cooper after having watched
"Now, Voyager" then be sure to watch this movie.
And check out this pic of a
young Gladys Cooper.
-
I love Greer's scenes with Marsha Hunt in this movie.
(See the videos above.)
Marsha, where's that bloody autobiography?
-
Isn't it nice to see a movie in which the protagonist is
a servant but the master and mistress of the house are
not evil and oppressive?
-
I don't seem to have much to say about this movie, other
than that it's a very, very good movie, not only in
terms of Greer's performance but also in its strong
story and the strong acting by everyone.
